We invite students age 13-19 to apply for a place in our 12-week Innovators Programme taking place between January-April 2025. Simply submit a 3-minute video introduction telling us why you want to join the programme, the challenge you want to address, and ideas you want to explore.
Digital Camp and The Toucan Project are offering up to 10 scholarships for students that are eager to learn and ready to work in teams, to work with professionals and build their own green tech projects. Scholarships will be awarded based on motivation and need.
The Connect for Good Challenge announced on 1st November 2024 is open to all students, mentors, teachers and leaders. Students will submit projects, whilst mentors, teachers and leaders will support them to do so through our training programme. The Challenge will culminate with project submission at the end of March 2025 with winners announced in April 2025. Joining the challenge is free.
HOW TO ENTER THE CONNECT FOR GOOD CHALLENGE
To enter the Challenge, participants must first register on this site, then submit a 3-minute video and 10-slide presentation about their project addressing one of the following climate change challenges by 31st March:
- Air quality
- Biodiversity
- Water Scarcity
- Food Security
- Extreme Weather Events
Finalists will be invited to present to a panel of experts in tech, business, and sustainability at the end of April for a chance to win an award. Up to 5 teams will be selected to receive further support and mentorship to bring their projects to life.
INNOVATORS PROGRAMME
For additional support, we are offering the Innovators Programme (a paid programme with opportunity to join through scholarships) as an optional extension to the Challenge. The Innovators Programme will provide students with online meetings with professionals, mentors for students, and additional digital teaching materials.
To join the Innovators Programme, there are 2 options:
1. Students can apply for a Scholarship or can pay to take part.

2. Schools or Institutions can pay to join the Programme as a Partner.
Any school or institution may also choose to become a Partner with Digital Camp by enrolling 10 or more students in the Programme. Partner Schools will receive discounts and/or other benefits across Digital Camp's programmes.
Note: Project submissions from the Innovators Programme participants will not be given an additional advantage in the judging of projects. Register (if you haven't already) for our free course “Design Thinking for Sustainability”. You’ll learn about climate change challenges and how to start the design process for your project. Even better, you will receive a certificate upon successful completion to share as a credential on LinkedIn!
